BRIAN LINTON | Founder & Chief Trash Collector Brian is the founder and chief trash collector at UBB. He handles day to day operations like feeding the fish and taking Zoey out for her afternoon walk. As for real work, he is involved in everything from product development to sales, with an overall objective of making sure UBB continues to grow while simultaneously doing the most good possible for our world's oceans and waterways. You'll find him in the office most weekdays, at cleanups on the weekend, and exploring the world in his free time. To learn more about Brian read our story. |
ALLI BLUM | Director of Marketing Alli's main responsibilities are to direct online marketing initiatives for unitedbyblue.com and to recruit, hire, and manage student interns. Her day-to-day responsibilities include strategic planning for marketing campaigns and seasonal line launches, writing copy for partnership proposals and product descriptions, and building a talent pipeline of prospective interns. She came to UBB because she wanted to work at a company that was addressing ocean and waterway pollution in a meaningful way. When she’s not at the office, she’s usually reading anything she can get her hands on or dining out in Philadelphia. |

MIKE CANGI | Director of Cleanups Mike helps to organize and host all of UBB's cleanup efforts. Whether at a creek, river, or beach he enjoys the challenge of getting the tough debris and the reward of seeing the impact of a UBB cleanup. Mike joined the team because he believes businesses have the ability to do much more than simply create money - they have the power to create positive change. When he isn't in the office or at a cleanup, you can usually find him on the beach with his skimboard. |
LESLIE HUDSON | Cleanup Associate Leslie plans beach and waterway cleanups throughout the country and Philadelphia region alongside Mike. She came to UBB because of two passions: a passion for the ocean, and a passion for going on adventures. After spending her childhood in creeks, summers at the beach, and college years within a stone’s throw of the ocean, she wants to make sure others will be able to enjoy waterways in the future. |

KATHARINE FRIEDGEN | Creative Associate Katharine creates and maintains the imagery for UBB. From photographs to video, web to print, she helps us visualize and understand how our everyday actions affect the oceans, she captures hidden beauty in and around Philadelphia and she explores and expands upon the vintage nautical themes embedded in the brand. She joined the UBB team to be a part of the Blue Movement and to use film and photography as catalysts for positive change. Her summertime family trips to the beach are some of her most precious memories, and she hopes that our oceans and waterways will be available for families to enjoy for many summers to come. |

KEVIN SHIELDS | Creative Assistant Kevin assists in the creation of visual media for UBB. His work, whether it be photo, video, or design, strives to show the beauty of the oceans, the company, our products or the people that choose to be a part of the sustainable movement. Kevin came to UBB because he believes that there is no better use of your skills than for something positive, sustainable, and uplifting. Outside of UBB, Kevin also raps and sings in his band, the Racket Boys, and creates art through various experimental video and photography projects. |
