United By Blue partnered with The Paper Market to clean up Red Clay Creek at Anson B. Nixon Park in Kennett Square, PA. Last year, we removed 631 pounds from this beautiful suburban park and this year we picked up 732 pounds of trash. That's a total of 1,363 pounds in just under one year!

Our strangest trash award went a car's bumper that had a student parking sticker from 1968. The other strange trash contenders included 10 tires, hair curlers, a knife, a metal pole and pieces of glass that had melted and fused into balls (found near the crash).

The Paper Market is a supporter of organic food and sustainable style. This eco-boutique recognizes the importance of preserving our oceans and waterways, as this mission is in line with The Paper Market’s “people, planet, profit,” motto. They sell a wide variety of products including candles, books, and Tom’s shoes.

UBB would like to thank Starbucks of Kennett for their donation and The Paper Market for their hard work.
