You’re a leader on your campus and have many passions that can’t be confined to just one club.

You are looking for an organization that is a blend of learning new skills, professional development opportunities, networking with area professionals, volunteer events and a group that does more than just talk about ocean issues. That is what draws you to United By Blue’s latest ocean friendly endeavor, Campus Crew.

United By Blue’s Campus Crew program pairs lessons in starting a sustainable business, living an ocean-friendly lifestyle with using fashion and design as a vehicle for social activism. United By Blue’s Campus Crew members are catalysts for environmental changes on campus: whether its in the form of a plastic water bottle ban or additional recycling bins in the dorms. Club members get a firsthand lesson in using fashion and design as social activism through a t-shirt design contest. The Campus Crew will grow their base of mentors and local professionals in their desired fields.

Throughout the semester, Campus Crew members host competitions, sustainable business workshops, seminars, networking events and environmental education events like movie screenings, lectures, tabling events and more. Students will gain recruitment, public relations, social media, design, marketing, event planning and communication skills.

The Campus Crew program is an opportunity to bring a unique club to campuses in the Philadelphia area. Campus Crew leaders have the freedom to design events and environmental campaigns based on their university’s needs.  Throughout the program, United By Blue will provide guidance, support promotional and educational materials for Campus Crew leaders.
