It's hard to find things that are special anymore. It's hard to find things with a story, with a past, with a human element. At UBB, we're big believers in finding forgotten beauty and bringing it to you. Which is why we're working with American designers to create an exclusive UBB collection of handmade pieces.

You'll find that each piece, like each designer, is unique in its own way. Some embody a slower, simpler era long gone by, others embody a specific part of the country, and still others embody the essence of some of our favorite activities.

You'll also find that each piece is 100% United By Blue. Elegant and rugged, understated and complex, storied and timeless.

Stacy Jay was born of hearty midwestern stock in the Chicago suburbs and now lives in the Southwest. Her pieces are inspired by Southwestern motifs, incorporating turquoise with Native American designs, while her technique calls on her midwestern brass-hammering and metal-folding roots.

Chris works with leather and other natural materials in his Pennsylvania studio. In this era of mass production, Chris prides himself on letting the hand of the artist shine through in each and every piece. He believes in both executing high quality design and in letting the imperfections inherent in handmade work shine through. The results are leather goods with that extra something special.

A medical student by day and a designer by night, Jill draws inspiration from her favorite leisure activities: sailing, skiing, and kayaking. Many of her pieces feature actual sailing line and hardware. A few may even have been handcrafted onboard her 1967 Albacore.

Creative blood has been pumping through this New York City-based designer's veins for as long as she can remember. An artist, a dancer, and, of course, a jewelry maker, Felicity scouts vintage glass and lucite beads, antique keys and tags, and other found objects to incorporate into her pieces. Each piece she finds has a history of its own, and a new story thanks to her.
